Usualmente las niñas quieren ser bailarinas de ballet cuando grandes, yo siempre quise ser arqueologa. Asi que cuando tuve la oportunidad de visitar la Villa Getty en Malibu, fue como si hubiera llegado al cielo! Los panfletos de esa visita habian sido mis tesoros mas grandes desde 2007 y hace un par de semanas, decidi hacer algo productivo con ellos. El resultado fue esta cartera.
El viernes tuve la oportunidad de estrenarla en una fiesta/desfile de modas, y la cartera desaparecio de la mesa en cuestion de segundos. Me rompio el corazon un poco pero ni modo, ya estaba haciendome a la idea... cual fue mi sorpresa que a las 3 de la mañana mis amigos me llamaron para avisarme que la habian encontrado! Asi que si eso no es un milagro, entonces no se lo que es. Espero les guste, porque pronto les pasaré el DIY ;)
I made it from scratch a couple weeks ago and I finally had a chance to wear it last friday to a party/fashion show. I dont really know how it happened, but I suddenly realized it was gone. I immediately called the bank to block my card, and started to get psycologically prepared to spend the next few days making lines getting a new ID and driver's license..."oh well, Its just plastic", I thought...but I must admit I was a bit heartbroken because the inside of it was made with brochures from my visit to The Getty Villa (one of THE most beautiful places I have ever been at).

You can imagine my surprise when i got a call from a friend at 3:30 AM yelling: "sweetie, no need to call the cops! we found it!". All I could think was: "damn. that must mean I have to post it on the blog". So here it is. I hope you like it, because I'm planning to post the DIY on a couple days ;)
Me fascina la historia de cartera, muy bonita..y me parece increible que soñastes ser arqueologa..yo tambien quise ser arqueologa,pero mi sueño ha sido conocer el machu pichu y las ruinas de grecia...saludos

jajaja siiiii. incluso en la universidad, estuve a punto de cambiarme a arqueologia. a mi me obsesionan los griegos y los romanos, pero creo que era mas el estilo que las ruinas, por eso desisti :P
